Sileby Town RFC

A fantastic away-day performance from the Vikings!

The Vikings travelled to Long Eaton today for Round 2 of the Women's NC3 Midlands (North) campaign, and the squad certainly made their mark with an impressive 77-point performance on the road!

Sileby got off to a strong start, opening the scoring early before adding a second try through Hayley to make it 10–0. Long Eaton responded with a score of their own, but the Vikings quickly regained control and began to build momentum.

With tries coming from across the squad, Sileby showed their attacking threat and continued to put points on the board throughout the match. Izzy had a particularly impressive afternoon, crossing for three tries and adding four conversions, while Jess and Tash scored two tries each, Woody scored a try and kicked two conversions while Hayley, Natalie, Cat, Ash and Lilly all got in on the action.

The Vikings kept pushing right until the final whistle, to secure a superb 77–5 away victory!

A brilliant team effort, plenty of tries to celebrate and another positive step in our league campaign. Huge credit to the whole squad for their hard work and commitment, and thank you to Long Eaton Rugby for hosting us.
