What a way to kick off pre-season! Sileby Town RFC Women travelled to Matlock RFC for their first outing after a summer of hard work – and came away with a 27–12 victory.
The hosts started strongly, edging the first 20-minute session 7–5 and then extending their lead with another try to make it 12–5. But as the match wore on, Sileby began to settle into their rhythm, putting training into action and steadily building momentum. By the final whistle, the visitors had pulled away to secure a confident 27–12 win.
